These are shots from within the keep.  Right, this narrow hallway leads to the gardirobe... the toilet!

The gardirobe can be seen below.  The toilet did not empty out into the open inner ward, but instead was a shaft built into the tower.  Waste would fall the length of the tower into deep sump well below the base of the tower so as to keep the waste and stored water separate. 

To the lower right, a view of the rebuilt stairs that take you from one level to another.
Right, the authentic entrance, though now covered with a plexiglass door.  The door can actually be opened, but for a rationale I'm not sure of.

Below, a view into the inner ward from the keep's entrance.
Within the keep are some displays of authentic and unrepaired artifacts.  The chainmail on display (below) shows the wear of the years, and yet the intricate design of the links remains intact.
While repairing the inside of the keep, efforts were made to retain those features of the original structure that were of interest.  The archway at left is one example of this.
