Bavaria is a section of the country that I'm not so familiar with.  I think the reason for this is that most soldiers I knew always spoke of going there, especially to get drunk during Oktoberfest!  Since the area was such a tourist trap, I spent more time in the Schwabische Alb, or areas not frequented by soldiers.  Thus, my experience with Bavaria is very limited.  I hope to change that in the near future.  However, I did get a chance to see a few nice castles along the Altmuhl River, and these are featured here. your text.
